TRIPLE ROTOR FLEX WING SLASHER
4500, 5000 & 5500
Flexwing slashers are available in 3 standard widths and are designed for cutting wide areas, mounded orchards, road verges and just about anything else.
They have the versatility of folding up to transport width without leaving the tractor seat and the wings float independently up to 30 degrees and down to 15 degrees over uneven terrain to give a uniform cut.
Couple that together with a mechanical level lift system with fine adjustable hydraulic cylinder mounted on spring suspension, 150mm blade overlap with updraft blades and you have one of the most versatile and heavy duty Australian made rotary cutters on the market.
Hydraulic Wings fold up to 90 degrees for transport and will float down slope to 15 degrees.
Hydraulic wing lifts are protected by an anti-drop valve for ultimate safety.
All models fold up under 2400mm for transport or for getting through gates.
Standard gearboxes are the 150hp three-way divider driving 3 x 130hp rotor gearboxes.
All rotor gearboxes are individually clutched and overlapped but not timed.
All gearboxe shafts are 13/4 20 spline for exceptional torque transmission
Hydraulic level lift trailing unit with heavy duty adjustable turn buckles for the wings.
Solid forklift tyres on a 5mm split rim, giving a 10mm hub centre for trouble free mowing.
Spring shock absorber on the wheel cylinder provides smooth operation while reducing shock loads to the main frame.
Full length stainless steel hinge pins provide greater strength and durability.
Piranha Slashers are now all Sand blasted and finshed with a high quality powder coat.
The main body is a three piece constructed folded and fully reinforced HA350 grade 5mm Australian made plate and tube.
All Piranha slashers comply with the Australian Industry Standards February 2011.
