Originally developed at the start of the 1980s, in the tough rice growing conditions of the Southern Riverina in Australia. These machines are strong enough to handle badly bogged up rice fields but also capable of a seedbed finish which is so important in Laser levelled irrigation layouts. These machines are also used extensively in Broadacre cereal farming for stubble incorporation and weed control, and have been produced in machines up to 17.73m (65.24ft) in width.
