The 2019 Riverina Field Days will be on again at the Griffith Showgrounds on 10th & 11th of May. It is still the only field day held in the rich Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. 2018 saw a record number of exhibitors with over 260 unique sites and over 5000 attendee's. The Riverina Field Days continues to attract thousands of people each year and showcases the best agricultural machinery and products from the region. Event organiser Roly Zappacosta said "The machinery and farming exhibitors are always the biggest attraction." The region produces quality food and fibre products and is widely known as the "food bowl" of NSW. The Riverina Field Days showcase the best in farming practices and it's all thanks to the quality exhibitors!” A combination of family & kids attractions, entertainment, food and demonstrations have made the Riverina Field Days an event on Griffith's calendar that people look forward to. "Many of last year's exhibitors have booked again and there is a great interest from first time exhibitors, which means that there is always something new to interest members of the public." There is a great deal of infrastructure in place at the Griffith Showgrounds such as permanent toilet facilities, amply parking, secure fencing, seating and three buildings providing exhibitors with undercover areas, thus saving marquee hire. Sizes of sites range from 20m x 20m down to 6m x 6m, powered or non powered. "We are always looking for new and interesting attractions and demonstrations to showcase. Non agricultural exhibitors and food stalls are also welcome as they provide diversity and variety."
